Connemara Stallion (*Texas Hope x Springledge Taffy) 14.1 1/2 H dun he had a long successful career in the show ring. He competed in hunters and jumpers with Connie Tour and won numerous Northwest Horse Council year-end awards over several years' time. He won a year-end award from Washington Horseman’s Assn. in second level dressage. He also competed in combined training and showed himself to be a brave, bold contender. Rocky retired from the show ring at 18 yrs. Rocky produced several year-end, zone 9 ASHA award winners both in pony and horse divisions. He had an exceptional personality and temperament that made him a joy to work with. He endowed his offspring with his intelligence, enthusiasm for work, lovely heads, good length of neck well set on & uniformly nice movement. Rocky died in 2002 and is buried at Skyview Farm next to Sherrie one of his "wives", who preceeded him in death.
