We offer riding lessons for beginning and intermediate riders starting on the lounge line. Instruction focuses on understanding the nature of the horse, body awareness, balance and relaxation in the rider. Our goal is helping the rider establish a satisfying , safe, harmonious relationship with the horse. we have lesson ponies and many students use their own or leased horses. Basic all purpose English saddles are used. Some of our students compete in 4-H , local open schooling hunters and dressage schooling shows.

Sandi Reynolds talks with riding student Emily Carter, 13, at Reynolds’ Skyview Farms in Canby, Ore. Carter, who lives in Molalla, Ore. has been riding for four years, but has been taking lessons from Reynolds for only 10 months. In addition to teaching riding, Reynolds, who specializes in Irish Connemara ponies, breeds and trains horses and runs a retail tack shop at her farm.
